Creating a Safe Space for Children and Teens

Creating a Safe Space for Children and Teens

💙 "Let the little children come to me..." (Matthew 19:14)

Background:
Children and teenagers in Kharkiv and the surrounding region face severe challenges due to prolonged war, constant shelling, and displacement. These conditions lead to emotional instability, social isolation, and disrupted education. In just the past week, there have been 30 attacks with significant casualties (4 killed, 84 wounded as of June 16, 2025).
In such times, it is crucial for young people to have a safe space where they can:
Feel supported and cared for
Engage in non-formal education and holistic development through creative and educational activities
Connect with peers and understanding adults
Develop healthy values and worldview
Study the Bible and pray for Ukraine
